Curtis Wayne Baird, son of Dale DeMearl Baird and Elizabeth Stitt Baird was born July 24, 1957 in Ogden Utah. Curtis passed away March 31, 2024, of natural causes. He married Julie Umiljenovich March 12, 1976, they were later divorced. He is survived by five of his six children, Natalie Lee, (Thor), Josh, Jon, Seth and Myan; brothers Dale D., and Scott; sisters Dalene Ward (Jim), Vicky Smith (Steve) Jill Jacobson (Glen), Debbie Colohan (Kevin), two granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death were his parents, son Cody and Aunt, Caroline Baird (Dale D.) Curtis had a lot of hobbies: he was a talented artist, a bonsai enthusiast, mountain man, karate instructor, and a lover of all kinds of pets including turtles, birds and especially dogs. He loved the out of doors, hunting, fishing, and camping with family members or by himself up in the mountains or on the Morgan property. Curtis had a good sense of humor and liked to tell jokes. His main job was with a forklift at Hill Air Force Base. He also worked at Kroger's Production Bakery in Layton and a maintenance worker at Walmart in Logan. The family will miss him. There will be a graveside service, April 9, 2024, at 1pm at the Washington Heights Gardens, 4500 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT
