Kevin Chambers Obituary

It is with a sense of joy for a life well-lived and a touch of sadness for a journey ended, that we celebrate the life of Kevin Chambers, who left us on March 21, 2024. Born in Ogden, UT, on August 30, 1960, Kevin, with his infectious grin and zest for life, could make any day brighter. "We didn’t realize we were making memories; we just knew we were having fun." This quote encapsulates the essence of Kevin's life perfectly.

Kevin was a force to be reckoned with. He started working for his father at a young age and eventually owned his own trucking business, proving his hard work and dedication. As a skilled heavy equipment operator in the construction industry, Kevin was a dependable and fearless worker. But he wasn't all work and no play. Kevin was a lover of the outdoors, always ready for a snowmobiling adventure, a hunting expedition, a camping trip, or a boating excursion. His love for the mountains was only matched by his love for wheeling and trucking. He was a fighter, a silent listener, and the best uncle one could ask for. He was a friend to all, a stoic force, a wisecracking badass, and an encouraging presence.

In Kevin's world, there was always room for laughter, adventure, and a good story. He was a master at making any situation fun, earning him the affectionate title of 'Funcle' from his nieces and nephews. "Humor is mankind's greatest blessing." Kevin was a blessing to all who had the privilege to know him.

Kevin was never married, but he was lovingly surrounded by his family and a host of friends who became his chosen family. His presence will be missed but his spirit will forever be a part of the mountains he loved and the hearts of those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl D. Chambers, and his mother, Devon J. Chambers.

He is survived by his sister, LuAnn Chambers of Wyoming, and brothers Ronnie (Rose) Chambers of Liberty, UT, and Gregg (Nattalie) Chambers of Eden, UT. He is also survived by seven nephews, three nieces, and twenty-eight great-nieces and nephews whom loved him and spent a lot of time with him.

Kevin's graveside service will be held Friday, March 29 at 11AM in the Eden Meadow View Cemetery, for the immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

We invite you to celebrate Kevin's life by sharing your memories, photos, and stories on his memorial page. Let's remember him as he was - full of life, full of laughter, and full of love.
