Aaron Christopher Van Voris WEST POINT - Aaron Christopher Van Voris, age 19, passed away on September 12, 2010. He was born on April 19, 1991 to Derek and Kellee Van Voris in Phoenix, Arizona. Aaron (aka VanVo) attended Syracuse High School where he played varsity football and ran track. He loved sports. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active and well loved in the Young Men's program and was an Eagle Scout. He loved his family and always brought a spark to the party. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, cousin, uncle and friend, and will be greatly missed but we know we'll see him again! Aaron is survived by his parents; sister Ashlee; two brothers Austin and Alexander all of West Point; grandparents Kenneth and Pegi Butler of Layton and Howard and Ann James of Sedro Woolley, Washington; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, and friends that loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Van Voris and cousin, AmberLee Butler. The family would like to thank all those who have expressed their love. A visitation will be held at the West Point 17th Ward/Lakeside Stake Center, 855 North 4000 West, West Point, Utah, on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, September 18th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30. A graveside service is reserved for family and invited friends. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in his name, sent to the Local Chapter of the American Heart Association, 144 South 500 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84102.
