Alene Peterson Thayn Obituary (1932

Alene Peterson Thayn was called home to her Heavenly Father on September 5, 2006. Alene was born on November 17, 1932 in Morgan, Utah to Roland and Hannah Peterson. She met and married John Ross Thayn on March 1, 1957 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1965. She worked most of her adult life at HAFB in Clearfield, Utah and was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband John Ross Thayn of Marana, AZ, and one sister Karen (Thell) Day Layton, UT and three wonderful daughters Lori Fern Thayn of Las Vegas NV, Marilee (Terry) Robinson of Payson, UT, and Jacklyn (Michael) Arthur of Marana, AZ. and four grandchildren, Phillip Larkin, Ian Douglas, Jeremy Douglas, Katherine Robinson. Alene was preceded in death by her mother and father and one sister Jean Dutkowski. A viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary of Layton, 250 North Fairfield, Sunday, September 10, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. Grave side service will be held Monday, September 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Morgan South Cemetery, 355 South State Street, Morgan, Utah.
