Alta Beus

OGDEN - Alta Ruth Beus, 79, passed away Friday, October 24, 2003 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Orson Joseph and Ada Ewer Palmer Snarr. She married James Warren Beus on June 11, 1945. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she enjoyed her LDS Relief Society group at the Wasatch Care Center. She was also a member of the Lady Eagles.

She enjoyed doing crafts, walking, playing skip-o and bingo with her friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved to take care and provide for others close to her.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Lesley Warren (Debbie) Beus, Kaysville; Linda (Michael) Dickson, Texas; Dennis Beus, Ogden; Kevin Beus, No. Ogden; seven grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving are three sisters, Laura Curtus, Berniece Hodges and Elna Coverston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and sisters, Darlene, Myrtle Snarr and RaNon Milus.
