Alta Carole Parker Butler Alta Carole Parker Butler went home to her Heavenly family on November 15, 2015. She was born to Alton William Parker Sr. and Margaret Christina Price on March 27, 1935. Carole married Gordon Jay Butler on May 18, 1956 in the Logan Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ. She is the mother of three children; Jeanne Butler Clifton, Michael Jay Butler and Joni Butler, the grandmother of; Robert John Clifton, Paul Jay Clifton, Monica Ann Clifton, Angie Lynn Butler Williams, Jenni Ann Butler, Michael Ray Butler and Stacy Carole Butler Stauffer. She is the great-grandmother of 12 and has one great-great-grandchild. A woman of commitment and conviction, she has served her family and God all her life. Working side by side with her husband, she has seen to it that opportunities for growth of each member of her family (by blood or thru Christ) was always her task. Carole served as a leader/worker in each of the communities her husband's profession took them. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison Ave., Ogden, Utah. A Memorial service will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at the West Haven LDS Chapel, 3939 West 4000 South, West Haven, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy.
