ALTA SOPHIA OSBORNE YOUNG

BRIGHAM CITY - Alta Sophia Osborne Young, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2004 in Brigham City.
Alta was born on May 25, 1911 in Aston, Idaho to George H. Osborne and Hannah Christine Nielson. Alta was the eighth of nine children born to this union.
Alta married Charlie Clyde Young on August 17, 1930 in Orland, California. They were blessed with one daughter, Charlene.
In their early marriage they lived in Cottage Grove, Oregon, where Charlie was employed. In the late 1950's they moved to Brigham City to care for Alta mother. In their later years they moved to Layton, Utah until February of this year, when she moved back to Brigham City to live in Autumn Living.
Alta was well known for her kindness, and loved to visit with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Charles.
Alta is survived by her daughter, Charlene McBee, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 204 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
