Anna Larene North

BRIGHAM CITY - Anna Larene Rohwer North passed away peacefully on October 19, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was born in Brigham City, UT on July 24, 1928 to Annie Luella Wise and Emil Alvero Rohwer. She was a life long resident of Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School.
Larene married Joseph W. North on April 7, 1950 their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on August 20, 1963.
She was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and was served in various callings including a primary teacher and the relief society compassionate service leader.
She worked as a nurse for over 42 years, she started at the Cooley Hospital and then at the Brigham City Hospital, where she retired at age 70. She was also a member of the ORNA (Operating Room Nurses Association).
Larene enjoyed cooking and baking. She made the most beautiful needle work. Above all she loved her family and devoted much of her time to them.
The family would like to thank Abbie Dickamore and Jordan Heiner for their special care. Also thanks to Anna Asay for being the best neighbor ever.
She leaves behind her daughters: Joan Bell, Brigham City; Teresa (Eldon) Dickamore, Brigham City; Marlene Sirois, S. Ogden; Cindy (Harvey) Facer, Mantua; Nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are her siblings: Nancy Hunsaker, Bert, Rohwer, Olive Colleen Absher, Alberta Worthington.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 10th Ward 145 W. 500 S. Brigham City UT. Friends may call on Wednesday October 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E. Brigham City, UT.
Interment will be the Brigham City Cemetery.
