Tony was born in Buffalo, New York on June 30, 1959 to John Otto & Sallie Kenefick Otto. Tony served in the United States Marine Corps for 17 years and was able to visit many countries during his tour of duty. He was proud of his service in the Marines.
Tony was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He cherished his membership in the church and his sealing in the Temple to his wife, Nadine, to be together forever.
Tony was a huge Buffalo Bills fan. His hope was that quarterback, Josh Allen, would be the new Jim Kelly and take them all the way to win the Super Bowl. He also loved watching Buffalo Sabres hockey.
Tony loved walking his 2 dogs on the trails by his home in Ogden, Utah. He Loved his Naddy's Mountain, as he called it, after his wife Nadine. Although his heart was also in Vermont and thinking about his 2 sons.
He was always on the go, very active and full of life. He was fluent in French and could speak many languages. He had many different jobs, chef, home care, security guard. He loved to cook and create beautiful and healthy meals. He made many friends in the short time he was married to his eternal companion of just under 3 years as he walked the trails and in the neighborhood and at church. He Loved that everyone seemed to know him and always said hi to him when he was out walking. He was writing a book. He was good at putting words together. He wrote his wife, Nadine, many poems. Nadine called him "my romantic, poetic man", which made blush, but he was pleased by the comment. He cared for his family back East, as well as his new family with Nadine in Utah. He loved to read and spent many hours researching for his book and other topics of interest. He was very smart and knowledgeable about many things. He loved his family in Utah and Vermont dearly.
