ANTONIO "TONY" SILVA

BRIGHAM CITY - Antonio "Tony" Garcia Silva, 74, passed away Sunday July 7, 2002 at the Brigham City Hospital of respiratory failure.
He was born July 5, 1928 in Fredricksburg, TX the sixth of 10 children of Marcelo Sanchez and Josefa Garcia Silva.
Tony was a long time resident of Brigham City. He worked for Hill Air Force Base as a warehouseman for 32 years, and has been retired for the past 19 years.
He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, vacationing in Wendover, and visiting with friends and family.
Tony is survived by his sisters Juana, Estelle, and Mary all of Brigham City, and Felix of Ogden, and one brother Elidio Silva of Fresno, CA.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews that thought of Tony as a second father, one who they could talk to about anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Pat, Domingo, Ebbie, and Marcello.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry's Catholic Chruch.
Vigil services will be on Tuesday from 6:00 to 6:40 p.m., friends may call following the services from 6:40 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
