Arlund Dean Baird Obituary (1937 - 2008)

SUNSET- Arlund Dean Baird, 70, passed away on July 5, 2008 at Manor Care in South Ogden. He was born July 23, 1937 in Blackfoot, Idaho, a son of Clifford Franklin Baird and Marie Elizabeth Elliott. Arlund was married to Charlene Ann Jensen on August 22, 1967 in Brigham City, Utah; she passed away on August 18, 2003. He served his country in the Air Force. Arlund loved his TV and remote, and was a fan of Court TV, Walker Texas Ranger, and eating at the Imperial Dragon. He was a Christian. Arlund retired from UTA after 23 years of service. Surviving are his children, Darren Baird; Wanda (Bobby) James; and Danuel Baird. Also surviving are Kara (Davis) Arroyo; one brother, Clifford Baird Jr.; one sister, Francis Siglin; Ten grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Derek Baird, two grandchildren, and four siblings. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, from 6 to 8 p.m. Cremation following viewing.
