Armand Joseph Forest Obituary (1925 - 2003)

Armand Joseph Forest LAYTONa"Armand "Dad" Joseph Forest, 78, our loving father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully Friday, December 26, 2003 after a long illness. He was born March 20, 1925 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts to Roch and Delia Forest. He was united in marriage to Ida Rita Legros on May 1, 1948 in Massachusetts. He graduated from St. Bernard High School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Armand was a World War II veteran. He entered the U.S. Naval Services in July of 1943 and served aboard the submarine the USS Threadfin in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He worked at United Cooperative Farmers and Simon Saw and Steel in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. In 1986 he moved to Layton, Utah, where he enjoyed many years fishing, camping and working on miniature houses. Armand is survived by two daughters, Linda B. of Layton, Utah, and Paula M. of Spooner, Wisconsin; one son, Joseph A. (Sherrie); and two grandchildren, Katie and Nathan, all from Lunenburg, Massachusetts; three sisters; Anita Boudreau, Barbara (Robert) Johnson, Elizabeth (Ralph) Avery, three brothers, Raymond (Anita), Henri and Arthur (Anita). Also surviving are his Utah family and very close friends, Stan and Vicki, Frank and Teresa, Steve and Gail, Barbara, Bobby and Rose and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
