Armand Erik Manzy Obituary (1987 - 2014)

On July 04, 2014, Armand Erik Manzy proclaimed his freedom from the world. Armand was born to his loving and fortunate parents Cornell Manzy and Rochelle Hines (Loren) on the 9th of August, 1987, in St. Louis, MO. Armand leaves to cherish his life and legacy, a very large loving family. Armand has a grandmother, Emma Sanders, three uncles, seven aunts, plenty of great aunts and uncles and many cousins. More intimately, he has three siblings: Ian (Reina) Manzy, Kyla (Warren) Berry and Britne Manzy. He has three nephews, Ian II, Kaden, Warren III; six nieces, Ianna, Iyoni, Anaya, Kyria, Indrina, and Iriana. Armand Manzy was a self-taught musician with a deep passion for the art of sound and harmony. The performance of his art encompasses a variety of tradition and non-traditional music art forms. His sound is a conglomerate, rooted in a number of genres of music, ranging from classical to many of the modern music and of lesser known niche schools. Armand was heavily influenced by Stevie Wonder and Lauryn Hill, as he indicated, "their fascinating music content and sound breed inspiration and imagination". Armand's life is one to be remembered by all who loved and knew him. He received his high school diploma in 2005. He led a life of constant self -learning. He taught himself to play the piano, which is featured in much of his music. In addition he wrote, produced, and mastered his own music. Armand's mission and passion in life were his family and his art craft. Armand was very close to his brother and sisters. As children they learned and honed various arts together, from martial to music and abstract, leaned on one another and endured together in times of trial and triumph. Armand treasured an incredibly profound relationship with his mother. Armand inherited his father's intellect and many uncanny characteristics. One would only have to look closely to see that Armand has left an astonishing legacy with an innumerable canon of works, several concepts and projects only begun. He was filled with a plethora of unequivocal talents. Dearly departed yet his reflection is eternal.
