Arthur F. Long Obituary (1955 - 2011)

Arthur F. Long recording. "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is never to die." Arthur F. Long, 55, passed away on April 8, 2011 due to complications from surgery. Art had the soul of a cowboy and the mind of a mechanic. After riding bulls in his youth, he moved to Montana, for 6 years, to work along side his "uncle Bob (Birrer)" who was a cattle boss on the Snowcrest. Today he's well known as owner/manager/mechanic at Blvd. Automotive where he's worked for the past 32 years. He was well known for his expertise in alignment and problem solving. He found enjoyment in team roping, woodworking and hanging out with the "love of his life." Recently he purchased a Model A Pickup hot rod and was starting to frequent the local car shows. He is survived by his parents (LaRae Daley and Fay Long); brothers, (Robert Long and Rusty Long & wife Jackie); sister (Gwendolyn Long); children, (Lacey Long and Robert Long); wife, (Lori Williams). He was preceded in death by his sister (Jeanette Long).
