ARTHUR J. WEBB

Together Again
ROY - Our loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, left this earth March 14, 2005 to join his beautiful wife. Arthur J. Webb, 81, passed away from cancer.

He was born June 5, 1923 in North Platte, Nebraska, the son of Arthur J. and Melvina D. Webb. He was raised in Evanston, Wyoming and graduated from Evanston High School. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

On September 19, 1945, following his tour of duty, he married Violet Louise Wood in Richmond, Virginia. They shared 54 years of marriage. She passed away May 23, 2000.

Dad was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years. He was a devoted husband and cared lovingly for Mom when she was ill. He was a member of the Roy Christian Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing and camping. He was able to travel in all 50 of the United States. During his later years, he enjoyed his walks through his neighborhood in Roy. He was a quiet, wonderful man filled with honesty and integrity and was an example to all who knew him.
He is survived by his five daughters and their husbands, Lola (Al) Kolasch, Meridian, ID; Mary (Frank) Mark, Ogden; Virginia (Steve) Higley, South Ogden; Rose (Bob) Giboney, Ogden; Esther (Craig) Rasmussen, Roy; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Violet, and his sister Beverley Jones.

We love you and will miss you Dad.
