Ava Karey-Anna Law
SYRACUSE - It is with a heavy heart and much sadness that we announce the passage of our dearest little daughter, Ava Karey-Anna Law. She passed on February 24th 2013. She was 17 months old and a bright star in the heavens of our world. Born September 11th 2011, she was the second of triplets who were born 6 weeks premature. She was a fighter from the beginning, spending 6 weeks in the NICU at the U of U Medical Center. Despite these challenges, she had an amazing wonderful light that touched many during her short time here on earth. She was taken by angels to her Father in Heaven despite valiant efforts by the ER staff at Davis Hospital and the Air Med team from Primary Children's to stabilize her after she choked. She will be missed and never forgotten.
Ava was born while her father was an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Utah Medical Center, & where her mother had a wonderfully managed, but difficult pregnancy, ultimately giving birth to three beautiful children. Ava was the second to be born and the first to leave the NICU. Adasha Tricia (Casey) Law, and Dennis Porter Law MD, are her proud parents. We've never seen such an inquisitive, observant and methodical child. She loved to play with her siblings, watch teletubbies, play with games and toys, and spend time with her mother. She was just starting to walk and was very proud of herself. She loved to eat; she would hide candy and snacks around the house and then present them to us and be so proud as she munched away. She loved to listen to music and dance with her mommy and daddy. She had a sense of compassion beyond her years. When her brother, Cutler, would start to give her twin sister, Zoey, a hard time or try and steal a toy, Ava would always be there first to protect and make peace. Ava would take the wrath of her brother to protect her sister. She was truly Christ-like and was willing to suffer for others. She was an amazing spirit, so beautiful, intelligent, compassionate, loving, and happy.
She is survived by so many. Her parents, her older brothers Keron Sean Law and Aiden Creed Law, her identical twin Zoey Daphne Law, and Tristan Cutler Law, the third in the triad. Her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Dennis C. and Karey L. Law, Daphne Theresa Breedy and Steven Casey. Her Great Grandparents, Creed and Clarene Law, Dean and Lois Johnson and Constance McGee. Her maternal aunts Valda Casey, Claudia Breedy. Maternal uncles Selwin Powell, Marcus Casey, Stevenson "Bird" Casey, Dale Casey, Andy Drigo and Curvin Drigo, Great-aunts Gloria LeCointe, Irine Breedy, Katura Breedy, and Judy Breedy and Her Maternal Great Uncles; Rock, O'Brian, Hicks, Patrick, and Brabon Breedy. Her paternal uncles & aunts are Creed Law Ethan Law, Kate Hoflich and Felicity Law. Her paternal Great Aunts and Uncles are Christine Jackson, Kellie Law, Carol Sorensen, Kenneth Law, Shane Law, and Michael Law. There are numerous cousins, uncles, aunts and other family that we know are feeling her loss. She is preceded in death by many dear ones .
