Barbara Jean Ferguson
ROY - "Do not weep for me, go forth and enjoy life". Barbara Jean Ferguson, loving mother and grandmother, left this life on Nov. 21, 2011, finally giving in to the effects of Parkinson's. She fought a good fight.

Barbara was born on May 11, 1937, in Ogden, Utah, to parents John Watt Kehmeier and Margaret Ellen Ternes.

She married N. Kay Walker, they later divorced. She then married Arnold Ferguson, he preceded her in death in 2005.

Barbara graduated from BYU, where she was active in student government. She worked at DDO for four years, and Hill Air Force Base for 24 years. She loved working with the families of the service men, having a wonderful career. She attended Al-Anon and overeaters anonymous, and was grateful she was finally able to enjoy chocolate.

Barbara is survived by her children; Brian (Kathy) Walker, Julie (Scott) Matthews, and Kevin Walker, grandchildren; Nikki Moran, Karli Pulido, Austin Walker, and Ryan Walker, great-grandchildren; Ethan and Cody Moran, and Jack Pulido, and her sister; Suzanne (Sam) Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Arnold.

The family would like to give special thanks to Paula and her family, and Suzi and Sam Johnson, for their loving care.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday, from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m., prior to services.

Interment in the Washington Heights Memorial Park.

Barbara was grateful to know that she had no control over her disease.

"Believe life is about forgiving others and asking others for forgiveness."
