SOUTH WEBER - Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away Friday, July 30, 2010. She was born August 2, 1946, the daughter of Clifford Dale Hamilton and Beverly Jean Kennedy. She graduated from Weber High School, Class of 1964 and received her cosmetology certificate in 1989.
On February 19, 1965, Barbra married the love of her life, Bob Morris, in Roy, Utah. Barbra was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She owned Mane Creations Beauty Salon and "Whisper Hollow" ceramics. She sold her ceramic art throughout the world. She was an Artist, whether she was doing hair or her ceramics. She loved everyone, and was the sweetest woman to all with whom she came in contact.
Barbra loved spending time with her family. The other pride in her life beside her family was Miss Molly Mae, her Yorkshire Terrier. Barbra will be dearly missed.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Ogden Regional Medical Center for the loving care given to Barbra. They did everything they could for her.
She is survived by her husband, Bob, her son, Brenden D. (Millicent) Morris, 5 grandchildren, Taylor, Christopher, Kailey, Patrick, Lillian, 1 great-grandchild, Morgan. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Barbara June Morris, her brothers and sister; Brent (Linda) Hamilton, Curtis (Connie) Hamilton, Tammy (Bruce) Higginson, and her sister and brothers in-law; Cindy (Tony) Owens, Terry (Gayle) Morris, and Michael (Michelle) Morris.
Barbra was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Calvin Hamilton, and her father-in-law; Earl W. Morris Jr.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at the Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, Utah.
Services under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary.
