Our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend was received into the arms of his Heavenly Father and his earthly father on August 30, 2015.
Bart was born March 7, 1982 in South Ogden, to David Rhees and Leah Fowers Cragun. He graduated from Weber High School in 2000.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bart labored in the Panama City, Panama Mission. He was an extraordinary missionary and felt honored for the opportunity to serve. He has also held callings in the Elders Quorum and Sunday School. He was an inspired teacher and loved sharing his testimony with others.
He married Marcie Cahoon, his longtime sweetheart and best friend, September 10, 2011 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with two amazing and wonderful boys, Caleb and Isaac. He was a kind and patient father and was extremely proud of his kids. You could often find Bart with his boys in each arm or singing bedtime songs that he made up just for them.
Bart had an incredible entrepreneurial spirit and was the founder of Ogden Menu, along with Salt Lake and Logan Menu. He also started Everything Utah, Nugarc, My Mormon Space, and Family Picshare. His knowledge of computers and creating websites was extensive.
He had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours researching and locating his ancestors' gravesites and family homesteads. He always had several projects he was working on and would escape to his shed as often as possible. Bart was also a gifted mechanic and was always willing to help his family and friends fix anything.
Bart took great care of himself and felt the importance of treating his mortal body with respect. You could frequently find him at the gym and he enjoyed giving advice on nutrition and healthy living. He brought out the best in others and everyone loved being with him. Bart had a great sense of humor and he was able to see the positive in all things. He was admired, respected and an example to all of us.
Bart's greatest joy in life was his family. He felt extremely grateful for the time he had with his wife and boys. He was a selfless and humble person who always put others before himself. He will be remembered as a person of incredible faith, courage, strength and honor. Bart changed many people's lives and because of him we believe in miracles and we know that prayers are answered.
Bart is survived by his wife, Marcie; sons, Caleb and Isaac; his mother, Leah (James) Fisher; siblings, Brett (Allyson) Cragun, Kim (Todd) Moynier, Shannon (Mark) Lenthe, Jeffrey (Megan) Cragun, Brittnie (Matt) Gallegos; stepsiblings, Mike, Ryan, Greg, Andrea; and many nieces and nephews who adored him.
