Bart D. Williams

–

West Point, Utah

March 5 1959 - September 5 2026

Bart D. Williams, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother returned home to our Savior Jesus Christ on September 5, 2026. Bart struggled with health issues for many years and succumbed to kidney failure after almost 3 years of being on Dialysis.

Bart was born in Ogden Utah on March 5, 1959 to Gary and Dolores Williams. He was the second of 5 children. He went to school in Ogden and then in Roy when the family moved. He graduated from Roy High School in 1977. In December of 1983 is when he first met his wife at a church dance. They were married on June 15, 1985 and moved to West Point and raised a family. Bart worked for Volvo White for many years until they moved their company back East. Bart then worked for the Deseret Industry until his life long chronic pain became to much. He then retired. He is survived by his wife Debra Spiers Williams, his two sons Talan Bart Williams (Megan), and Brennon Paul Williams (Shelby). His three Grandchildren Carter Bryson Williams (mom Lisa), Everett Talan Williams and Averie Mae Williams (Talan and Megan). He is also survived by his oldest brother Rick Williams (Kathy) and his youngest brother Todd Williams (Nikki). There are also his nieces and nephews he loved so much. He is preceded in death by his parents Gary and Dolores Williams, his sister Wendy Williams Barnes (Jeff), his brother Kent Williams and his nephew Brant Williams (Rick and Kathy).

Bart was a beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Because Bart dealt with severe chronic pain most of his adult life and kidney failure the last 3 years he was unable to spend as much time with his children and grandchildren as he wanted. He absolutely loved hearing about his grandchildren and seeing the many videos and pictures of them. Bart was very proud of his sons. He wanted nothing more for them than to be happy and know how much their father loved them. Bart would always say how happy he was with the spouses they chose. He loved those two girls and was grateful they made his sons happy. Bart will be missed so much but knowing he is happy and pain free now and hanging out with family he hasn't seen in years makes it all a bit easier for those still here. Until we see you again Bart, we love you with all our hearts. A family graveside service will be held on Sept. 11, 2026. In lieu of any flowers please donate to charity.

Please help us celebrate Bart's life by sharing memories and uploading photos to his memorial page at www.myers-mortuary.com.
