BEATRICE NELLIE SCHENCK

ROY - Beatrice Nellie Schenck, 82, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born July 3, 1923 in Payson, Utah, the daughter of John Harry and Nellie Viola Elmer Andreason.

She graduated from Bingham High School in 1941.

She married Noel Ray Jacobson, they later divorced. She then married Albert Conley Schenck on May 28, 1955 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple in 1985. Albert passed away March 13, 1996.

Bea retired from the Internal Revenue Service after 20 plus years of service.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy Eighth Ward where she served in many callings. Her favorite calling was, Ogden Temple worker, visiting teacher, visiting teacher coordinator and compassionate service. She was a daughter of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed traveling with her husband camping, hunting, fishing, snow mobiling and boating. Bea was known for her great cooking and crocheting.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon (Ken) Sackett, four grandchildren Allison (Bruce) Christensen, Kirk (Diana) Sackett, Melissa (Bernie) Nilsen, Michelle (Travis) Woodward, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, brothers Elmer (Rita) Andreason, Don (Beth) Andreason and Sterling Andreason.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, parents, and sister Blanche A. Bowman.
