Becky Palmer Patterson

BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Becky Palmer Patterson, 35, returned to our Father in Heaven, September 15, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. She was born August 5, 1977, a daughter of L. Woodrow and Ann Forrester Palmer.
She grew up in Brigham City. She loved the outdoors, camping, playing games, and rough housing with her siblings. She played soccer and softball in her youth, basketball while in high school, graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Weber State University.
She married the love of her life, Garon Patterson, August 21, 1999 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. They spent 13 wonderful years together enjoying their children, Tyler, Natalie and Chase.
Becky loved her family, cooking, sports, and helping others. She was an amazing mother, her children were her life. They loved playing games, fishing, camping, sports, and scrapbooking with her. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She teased not only her children but everyone. Even through all the pain she made the doctors, nurses and any visitor smile. We will miss the laughs.
She shared delicious treats and served many with her cooking skills. Our taste buds enjoyed her talent. Her dream was to have a catering business for which she had made a plan.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Brigham City Central Ward. She worked with the Cub Scouts, Primary, and Young Women. She loved those she served.
She is survived by her husband; Garon, children: Tyler, Natalie, and Chase, parents; Woody and Ann Palmer; mother in-law Donna Patterson; brothers and sisters; Shelly (Rob) Murphy, Carla (Shane) Larson, Steven (Emily) Palmer, Cathy (Curt) Maisey, Sharon (Clark) Smith, David (Esther) Palmer. She was preceded in death by her father in-law Gary Patterson and grandparents; Leland and Ruth Palmer, Bowers and Marie Forrester.
To all of her family, neighbors, friends, doctors, and nurses who stood by her and her family through the fight we wish to say thank you. There are too many to list but know that we appreciate each of you.
Services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Ward Chapel, 506 S. 200 E., Brigham City. A viewing will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 6:00 to 800 p.m. at the Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City with a viewing to be held at the Central Ward Chapel, 10:00 to 10:40 a.m.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
