Bernice May Davis
"Together Again"
ROY - Our loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, Bernice May (Hardy) Davis, 86, returned to her Father in Heaven on March 27, 2013.
She was born on May 9, 1926 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Jared and Lavina Hardy.
Bernice married Donald L. Davis on July 7, 1951 in Ogden, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 27, 1961. Donald passed away on December 31, 2006 after 55 years together.
Bernice had many talents among them cooking and crocheting. She was extremely proficient at canning the abundance of produce that Donald grew. She cared about those less fortunate and often could be found sharing that produce with others.
Her four children, Lynn Davis (Deanna), West Point, UT; Diane Spiegel (Roger), Roy, UT; Sherry Maes (Tommy), West Valley City, UT; and Lorraine Christiansen (Scott), West Point, UT; feel extremely privileged and honored to have been raised by such noble parents.
Bernice leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Marie Gomm and Sharon Erp; brothers, Gerald Hardy and Merill Hardy. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters and one brother.
The family would like to extend their greatest appreciation to the staff of Manor Care for the loving and compassionate care given to Mom over these many years and also give thanks to Inspiration Hospice.
