Bernice Southworth Schorsch

ROY - Bernice Southworth Schorsch, 84, passed away February 12, 2005 at McKay Dee Hospital.

She was born December 4, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Edward and Hazel Southworth.

She married Herbert Schorsch in Elko, Nevada in 1938.

Bernice was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved being a member of the Roy 10th Ward. She enjoyed doing extractions for many years.

She is survived by one daughter Kaaren (Richard) Thompson, two grandchildren and one step-grandchild, Brian (Patricia) Woodland, Natalie (Brandon) Olsen, Sara (Bruce) Kay, six great-grandchildren. Also surviving is two sisters LaRue (Don) Halverson, Hazel (Dave) Krandondonk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert, two sisters Geneva, Elaine and great-grandson Brandon.

The family wishes to express love and appreciation to Janice, Cheryl and Nancy for their many years of special friendship and companionship. A special thanks to Patricia and Josh for their special loving care during her last few weeks.
