Berniece Marie Jackson

Berniece Marie Jackson, 77, passed away on May 31, 2018. She was born on September 15, 1940 to Harold and Alice Jones in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married Dennie Jackson on September 6, 1955 in Santa Monica, CA. Together, they had 5 children.

Berniece was the first female bus driver in Council Bluffs. She enjoyed traveling the Western U.S. and going to yard sales and meeting different people.

She is survived by her husband, Dennie, her children; Randy (Lynndee) of Roy, Monte (Anita) of Roy, Kitty Baker of South Ogden, Cory (Shara) of Rock Springs, WY, and Jolene (Allen) of Riverdale; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank South Ogden Post Acute and Legacy Hospice staff for their wonderful treatment of Berniece. She will be greatly missed by all.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, and on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, prior to the graveside service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd., Ogden.
