Bountiful-Our angel mother, Betty Koster, 85 died of natural causes on October 20, 2014 at Avalon Care Center Bountiful.

Betty was born December 22, 1928 in Uintah, UT the daughter of Ernest O.Sundberg and Florence Lorene Bybee.

Betty married Robert Daniel Koster on February 9, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple. Betty attended a two-room elementary school in Uintah. She was baptized in the Weber River.

Betty graduated from North Summit High class of 1947, being recognized in the music and art field. Betty graduated with a cosmetology degree. A member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Betty lived in Uintah, Echo, Castle Rock, Ogden, North Ogden, L.A. California, Sunset, Roy, and Bountiful. She is survived by six children: Kathy (Rick) Irwin, Bruce (Verlynn), Rebecca (Randell) Zaugg, Paula Jo (Kim) Cannon, John (Debbie) and Diane (Richard) Erickson, 31 Grandchildren, 70 Great Grandchildren and three on the way. Also surviving are one brother Ried, and two sisters, Iris Marrow, and Shirley Bush. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one baby sibling, two brothers, one sister, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 11 am in the Riverdale 2nd Ward, 5500 South 1175 West Riverdale, UT with Avalon Branch President John Powell officiating. Friends may visit family at the Riverdale Ward building on Thursday, October 23rd from 6-8 pm and Friday from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the services.

Interment, Uintah Cemetery.
