Betty Warburton

Betty Warburton, 99, of Brigham City, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026.

She was born November of 1926 in Liverpool, England to Joseph Marlow and Ada Annie Wisher. Betty married James (1921-2006) in 1947, and the two of them emigrated to California, USA in 1952. Betty spent her life taking care of her husband and their son Gary.

She was a hard worker and spent time as a hairdresser, seamstress and as a switchboard operator/receptionist. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and playing canasta with a group of women that she kept in contact with for many decades.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, and her sister Florence.

She is survived by her son, Gary and his wife, Shanon, her five grandchildren, Chris (Jillian), Kinsey (Ryan), Jared (Emily), Emily (Rayna) and Carson, her 3 great-grandchildren, Rose, Lucy and Quinn and one other great-granddaughter who is set to arrive later this month.
She is also survived by her beloved niece Sheila Preston of England.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City UT 84302.
