Beverly Webster Call

Beverly Webster Call, 89, died November 18, 2017 in the Crestwood Nursing Home in Ogden, Utah. She was born on November 15,1928 at her grandmother Boerens' home in Ogden, Utah. She was the daughter of Wilford Henry and Julia Boerens Webster. Beverly was raised on a farm in West Kaysville and attended Davis High School and Utah State Ag College (Utah State University) in Logan, Utah. She worked at the Davis County Library in Kaysville for three years. She married Lyman Merrill Call on June 14, 1951in the Salt Lake Temple and celebrated 59 years together before Merrill's passing in 2010.

Beverly served faithfully in the LDS church in various positions: Mutual secretary, Sunday School teacher, Primary President and teacher, Relief Society counselor and secretary. Her favorite positions were teaching the 8-year-old children in Primary and teaching cooking classes in Relief Society. She and Merrill also worked on the Ellis Island records while living in Nibley, Utah.

Beverly was well known for her compassionate, selfless service to her family, neighbors and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, six sisters; Wanda Webster, Irma Elm, Marjorie Green, Afton Udall, Dorothy Peterson, and Joann Webster.

Surviving members are one son, Brian Webster and Donna Call of North Ogden; three daughters, Christina and Stanley Smith of Prosser, Washington, Angela and Sterling Daerden of San Bruno, California, and Pamela Berg of South Ogden; one sister, Mary Cook and one brother, Dee Webster; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E 2850 N, North Ogden with a visitation prior to services from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden.
