Beverly Kay Pratt Mann

ROY - Beverly Kay Pratt Mann passed Monday, February 24, 2014 at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden surrounded by her family.

She was born July 24, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Frank and Emma Cole Pratt.

She married Reed Openshaw Mann on August 9, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Beverly graduated from Ogden High School in 1950 and Weber State College.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 2nd Ward. She taught primary for many years, played the piano for relief society and was a visiting teacher.

Beverly worked at the Cinedome for 30 years and developed many happy friendships from working there. Her family was her greatest joy and loved to spoil her grandkids. She loved to cook for her family and gather with them often.

She is survived by her husband, Reed, children: Kayla Mann (Garren) Decker, Kyle Reed (Janae) Mann, Kevin (Stacy) Mann, Karlene Mann (Ron) Robinson, Karrie Mann (Todd) Miller, 25 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Also surviving are siblings: Gladys Vause, Evelyn Woolley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons: Jake Decker and Parker Mann, and three sisters: Doris Jensen, Elsie Hadley, Vera Browning.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Roy 2nd Ward, 5127 South 2400 West, Roy. A viewing will be held Thursday at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
