PLAIN CITY - Beverly Jean Read Moyes, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, August 10, 2003, surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born in Ogden, Utah on June 15, 1932, a daughter of Augustus Henry and Pearl Hadley Read. She was the youngest of four children. Beverly was reared and educated in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Ogden High School in 1950. Beverly married Lewis Moyes in Plain City, Utah on January 24, 1951. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. After retiring from the Federal Government, Beverly and Lewis served as stake missionaries and served two full-time service missions. She enjoyed quilting, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling with her family.

She is survived by her husband Lewis, and her four children, Sandra (Ken) Hales of Eden, Rodney Moyes of Layton, Stanley Moyes of Orem, LouAnn (Dennis) Clark of Plain City, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Elwyn, and two sisters, Elaine and Shirley..
