B. Diane Hunter Packard Obituary (1950 - 2010)

B. Diane Hunter Packard ROY - B. Diane Hunter Packard passed away peacefully on Oct 22, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Diane was born April 18, 1950 in Ogden, Utah, the second daughter of Darrel and Beverly Hunter. She married Gary Packard and of this union was born two sons, Kevin and Kerry Packard. They were later divorced. Diane was a feisty, strong willed, little red-head, who followed her own path. Her family was the most important part of her life. She lived every day for her children and grandchildren and enjoyed every minute she had with them. Diane loved all outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, camping and skiing. She also enjoyed bowling and was a huge Denver Broncos fan. She worked at a number of different jobs through the years. Those included working as a beautician, driver of a lunch truck, loan specialist, Hill AFB and the last 12 years at Convergys. Through the years she made a number of lasting friendships. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Beverly Hunter. She is survived by her children Kevin (Lisa) Packard and Kerry (Christian) Packard, 9 grandchildren; sisters, Jan McGibbon, Darla (Larry) Dalton and Cheryl (Steve) Christiansen. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Call, Dr. Justin Mansfield and McKay Dee Hospital for all their wonderful care and support. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Monroe Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
