Beverly Pratt Watkins Click here to listen to the funeral recording. Beverly Pratt Watkins passed away on March 22, 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 13, 1938, in Ogden, a daughter of Melvin and Mildred Pratt. She graduated from Ogden High School and earned an Associate in Science degree at Weber College. She was an accomplished pianist, organist and violinist. Beverly married Blaine Joseph Watkins on April 2, 1961. They were later divorced. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Ward and Stake Organist most of her life. She was also the Cultural Refinement instructor in Relief Society for many years. Beverly worked at the Registrar's Office at Weber State College and was the Accountant at Children's Aid Society of Utah for sixteen years. Beverly dearly loved her family. She is survived by her children, Andrea Newton, Jennifer Berdine, and Paul Watkins, and her grandchildren Heidi, Heather and Whitney Newton, William Berdine, and Rosemary Reynolds-Watkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Marjorie Westergard Salway and Gloria Rippon, and her son Kirk Watkins. Private graveside services were held at Washington Heights Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah. Arrangements under the direction of Myers Ogden Mortuary.
