ROY - Bliss Lamar Davis, 65, passed away in the arms of his love of his life his wife Beverly at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mike Elton, returning to his Heavenly Father.

He was born January 18, 1941 in Wilson Lane, Utah to Viola Barrow and Clayborn Davis. His mother past away when he was four years old. His father then married Mary Donnafield, whom helped raise him in West Warren, Utah.

He went to school at West Weber Elementary, Wahlquist Jr. High and graduated from Weber High School in 1959. He enjoyed his youth in West Warren. When he was 19 years old he joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in Texas, Japan and Vietnam.

He married Olivia Parchet, they were later divorced.
He married Wyneene Ried, they were later divorced.
On November 8, 1974 he married the love of his life Beverly Fernelius Kennedy. Their marriage was later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Beverly had five children when Bliss married her, which he loved and cared for as much as any father could. They were blessed with three children.

Bliss worked for Circle (A) Construction, Great Salt Lake Mineral, Winder Dairy, Muirbrook Dairy, V/1 Propane, AmeriGas Propane and the Standard Examiner.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bliss was a High Priest in the Roy West Park Ward and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and had a strong testimony of the gospel. A good example to all, Bliss was a hard worker, and lived his life with integrity. Bliss was a loving husband and was a devoted family man. He loved his family with all his heart. Bliss will be greatly missed by his wife Beverly and all his children; Lisa (Wade) Cardon, West Warren, UT; Christine (Allen) Dumais, Madawaska, Maine; Scott (Marie) Kennedy, Taylor, UT; Jeff (Andrea) Kennedy, Plain City, UT; Ross (Angie) Kennedy, Layton UT; Jay (Shannon) Davis, Ogden, UT; Mary Beth (Glenn) Cyr, Frenchville, Maine; Tammy (Mike) Elton, Roy, UT; 28 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving Best friends, Stanley and Berniece Bertagnolli, Wendell, Idaho; two brothers Ronald (Linda) Davis, West Warren, UT; Gary (Barbara) Davis, Fort Worth, Texas; one sister Barbara (Peter) Platzker, Sebastopal, California. Also surviving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Bliss is now reunited with his parents, and his brothers Merlin, Garth, Delmar, and sister JoAnn and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank friends and neighbors and Harmony Hospice especially Eileene, Judy, Connie, Max, Michelle, Kim, Dana, Shelia that so loving cared for Bliss, for there care and support.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary in Roy, 5865 South 1900 West. Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, West Warren Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
