Bobbie Kay Conaway
March 19, 1960 - December 24, 2025
Bobbie Kay Conaway, was born in North Carolina, on March 19, 1960. His life was imbued with a spirit of independence and creativity, which he expressed through his work as a Handy Man and his much-loved hobbies of woodworking and music. A proud fan of Kid Rock, Bobbie's appreciation for music was as deep as his love for crafting things out of wood. His life was a melody of laughter, love, and dedication to his craft, with each day a new verse added to the song of his life.
He was also a member of the LDS church and attended the 4th ward in Brigham City Utah, in his younger years. He took pride in serving the sacrament. On an average day, when he wasn't working, you would find him outside enjoying a beautiful day with a nice Kool-Aid!
Bobbie was known for his light-hearted nature and was a well-known jokester among his friends and family. He had a knack for creating special nicknames for everyone, a testament to his unique, free spirit and his ability to make others smile. His soul was a beautiful blend of old and new, as comfortable with a piece of timber and a set of tools as he was with the modern world.
Along with wood working and music, he loved all sports and was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs football team. His life was a journey that took him to various places, including Las Vegas, NV, Boulder City, NV, South Jordan, UT, and ultimately back to his hometown of Brigham City, UT.
Bobbie didn't like to be the center of attention, or to have the spot light, as he would say "Don't put me on front street".
Bobbie was a beloved brother to his sisters, Sheila Wakley (Mark),Tamera Wigginton and uncle to a hose of nieces and nephews. His life was a testament to the bonds of family and the enduring love that ties us together. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Naomi Tracy, his father, Bill Conaway, and his brother, Billie Conaway. Bobbie's spirit, his laughter, and his unique nicknames will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
We encourage all who knew and loved Bobbie to share their memories and photos of him on his memorial page, to ensure that his unique spirit, his laughter, and his love for life continue to inspire and bring joy to others. Bobbie’s life was a song of love, laughter, and creativity, and each memory shared is another note added to his beautiful melody.
