Bonnie K Maynard, born in Ogden, UT, on November 24, 1945, was a woman of immense strength, grace, and faith. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a steadfast dedication to her work, family and church. Bonnie's journey on earth came to a close on October 26, 2023. As we remember her life, we find solace in the words of Albert Schweitzer, "The only escape from the miseries of life are music and cats." Bonnie was a lover of both.
For over three decades, Bonnie dedicated her time and talents as an Administrative assistant at Hill Airforce Base. She welcomed everyone with a warm smile and a kind word, creating a place of comfort and camaraderie. She retired in 2008, leaving behind a legacy of commitment, efficiency, and compassion. Bonnie's work ethic was an inspiration to all who knew her. As Maya Angelou wisely said, "Nothing will work unless you do," Bonnie embodied this ethos, pouring her heart and soul into her role, making a meaningful difference in the lives of her colleagues and those she served.
Bonnie leaves behind her beloved sons, Brett and Curtis, grandchildren Shanae, Preston, Brandon, Blake, Brooke, Braxton, Bailee and Bridger, great grandchildren Erin, Charlotte and Wren, who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Pebley, her mother, Adella Westbroek, brothers Marvin, Joseph Randall and sisters Dolly and Rhea. Bonnie's life was a testament to the power of resilience, kindness, and an unwavering spirit. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
We encourage everyone who knew Bonnie to share their memories, stories, and photos on her memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of Bonnie's unique spirit and the impact she had on those around her.
