Borman Workman Smith Obituary (1922 - 2006)

Borman Workman Smith BLUEBELL, UT - Borman Workman Smith, 84, died peacefully at home in Bluebell, Utah, October 29, 2006, following a stroke. He was born April 30, 1922, in Lewiston, Utah, a son of Alma Smith and Phyllis Irene Workman Smith. On November 17, 1944 he married Eva Vail. They were later divorced. He married Aletta Geziena Anna VanDerVeen on June 17, 1955 and they were later divorced. He married Venna Hyde on August 7, 1970; their marriage was solemnized February 23, 1971 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. After retiring from Hill Air Force Base, he served as a worker in the Ogden Temple for many years. He moved to Bluebell, Utah in 2001. He is survived by his children, Alycia (Mike) McGavran of Everett, WA and MaryLynn (Jim) LaPlant of Everett, MA; stepchildren, Veann (Monty) Bolton of Bluebell, UT, Myrna (Dave) Indvick of Cotter, AK, Lorna (Doug) Jennings, of Price, UT, Bradford Harvey (Debbie) Bingham, of Mountain Home, AK and Lesli Jo (John) McBride of Hilo, HI. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Ronde Workman Smith, Joyce (Dallas) Gilbert, Hazel Dean Smith, Edward Parley (Juanita) Smith, Shirleen (Del) Traveller and Richard Alma (Ann) Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Venna; parents; and sister Pauline.
