Brian Hewitt Brown, known fondly as "Trucker Bob" to his loved ones, was a compassionate soul who brought laughter and joy wherever he went. Born on March 11, 1980, in Acworth, Georgia, Brian spent his life serving others, guided by his unshakeable faith as a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He married the love of his life in the Ogden Temple on July 26, 2005, and together they built a life filled with love, joy, and Dr. Pepper – always without ice, just the way Brian liked it.
Brian was a humble man, yet his personality was as large as the semi-trucks he so skillfully drove for two decades. He had a knack for bringing humor into any situation, often lightening the mood with his quick wit and contagious laughter. Brian was thoughtful beyond measure, always prioritizing the needs of others before his own. He had a particular fondness for his nieces and nephews, often delighting them with adventurous four-wheeler rides around the block. He was also an avid coin collector, finding joy in discovering unique coins and sharing his passion with others. As an active member of the South Weber community for 45 years, Brian's infectious spirit and selflessness touched the hearts of many.
Brian's life was a testament to his incredible resilience and unwavering faith. He courageously battled cancer three times, demonstrating remarkable strength and determination throughout his journey. His humble bravery was an inspiration to all who knew him. Despite the challenges he faced, Brian's love for his family never wavered. His wife, Julia, his mother, JoAnn, and his brothers, Wesley (Melanie), James (Jennifer), Lance (Aimee) and Michael were the center of his world. Brian and Julia opened their home up to many family members. They both helped her sister to parent 4 wonderful children as they lived in his home with their mom, Rachel. He loved Ella, Mason, Kinzlee and Zaylie as his own and they called him Daddy Brian. There were also many other nieces and nephews that were the center of his world. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wesley Brown.
"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these" (Luke 12:27). Brian's life was much like the lilies, humble yet magnificent, touching the lives of those around him without asking for anything in return.
