Bruce Wayne Carter, Sr

Bruce Wayne Carter, Sr., 75, died Monday, August 6, 2001.

He was born July 4, 1926 in Enid, Oklahoma to DuWight H. and Margaret Alice Wilson Carter. He married Barbara Ingram on August 2, 1963.

He was a member of the Pentecostal Faith.

He worked as a machinist for the Southern Pacific Railroad and was a member of the SP Old-timers.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children; Bruce (Judy) Carter, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK; Robert (Kathy) Carter, SC; Lydia Sue Blades, Oklahoma City, OK; Teresa (Tim) Jaramillo-Becker, Ogden; Bruce Conley, Ogden; Keith Conley, Ogden; Tina (Douglas) Wakley-Eby, Ogden; Howard Carter, Virginia; 20 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Olen Carter and Ralph Carter, both of Texas; Homer Carter and Joe Carter, both of Oklahoma; Bill Carter, Arizona and Alice Ruth Webb, Arkansas.

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 10th, 1:00 p.m. at the Orchard Park 1st Ward Chapel, 3270 Orchard Ave.

Interment will take place in Sand Springs, OK.
