Bryant Hansen Day

BRYANT H. DAY

ROY- Bryant H. Day, age 81, passed away on August 16, 2001, in Roy, Utah.

Bryant was born on November 23, 1919 in Mayfield, Utah, to Lester and Katherine Day.

He married June Horrall in 1946. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Temple. He was an Elder in the LDS Roy 10th Ward.

Bryant attended Roy Elementary and graduated from Weber High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII on the destroyers the USS Lind and the USS Zeilin as SF 1st Class.

Bryant retired from the G.S.A. and the Boiler Makers.

Bryant was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Smith and a grandson, Jason Day.

Bryant is survived by his wife, June; two sons: Douglas Day (Pam), Clinton, UT; Craig Day, Roy, UT; five daughters: Diane Howard (Stephen) of DL; Susan D. Voorhees (Robert) Roy, UT; Marie Day, Clinton, UT; Nancy Spiegel, Roy, UT; Becky Day, SLC, UT. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one brother, Forrest Day, and one sister, Pearl Nixon both of Roy, UT.
