Buddy Gene (Rawson) Hardy
Buddy Gene (Rawson) Hardy of North Ogden, Utah passed away on 03/04/2016 at the age of 78 after a long hard endurance race with cancer.
He had 8 children, 42 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. He passed away with his perfect, faithful wife at his side. He said to her, "She gave me everything I ever wanted." He loved his family. They were his most prized possession. He was born in Forsyth, MO to Viola Mae (Combs) Rawson and Sylverus Cleo Hardy, and raised by his stepfather Leslie Max Rawson of Rupert, ID beginning at the age of 10. Between the Hardy and Rawson family, he had 10 step-siblings.
His son, Elder Bill Hardy, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children, Penny Tapp (Eldon), Monty (Susan), Boyd (Kim), Melissa Hintz (Rhett), Jeff (Elise), Paul, Jennilyn Doherty (Jason).
Special thanks go to Dr. Gray and his staff at Utah Hematology Oncology who gave their best efforts and to Integrity Home Health Care and Hospice. You were all angels on earth.
Dad gave his best effort, going beyond expectations. We won't forget his faithfulness in all things. We hope he gets a bit of rest before we join him and make too much noise at that awesome family reunion.
