Carl Davis

ROY - Carl Davis, 69, passed away Friday, June 29, 2001 at Ogden Regional Hospital.

He was born February 5, 1932 in Foxworth, Mississippi to Esther and Elizabeth Burnett Davis. He married Johnnie Mae Bush on February 5, 1982 in Evanston, Wyoming.

He was a Past Master of Mt. Ogden Lodge No. 20 F and AM; a member of Ben Lomond Consistory No. 94 PCIC; a member of Labbayk Temple No. 218 PP; member of Queen of the West Chapter 17 Eastern Star; and a member of Griffin Memorial Church of God in Christ.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Cargo Handler in air freight for 27A 1/2 years; then for Pepsi Cola for 11 years.

Surviving are his wife, Johnnie Davis of Roy; two sons, Ronald McWee of Denver, CO; John Bush of Sherwood, OR; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Genora Ellis, Mississippi; Lela Mae Butler, Chicago, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter; one sister; and one brother.
