Carlos G. S. Diarte Obituary (1960 - 2010)

Carlos G. S. Diarte Ogden - After a brief illness, Carlos Diarte passed away on July, 10, 2010. He was born March 14, 1960 in Ogden to Jimmie S. and Mary Galvan Diarte. Carlos married Paula DeHerrera November 9, 1985. He was a member of Washington Heights Baptist Church. Carlos loved spending time with his family and friends; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and golfing. He had many devoted lifetime friends. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and he always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. Carlos had the biggest smile and gave the best hugs and will be missed by many people. He is survived by his wife, Paula; sons Gabriel and Joseph; mother, Mary; brother, James (Jeanne); sister, Elena (Rick) Shelton; Jamie Diarte and many other nieces; nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie and nephew Ron. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday, July 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 to 10:55. Inurnment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with college education fund.
