Carol Stephens Saxton

Layton - Carol Stephens Saxton, 77, passed away July 14, 2010, with family by her side at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. She was born December 15, 1932, in Salt Lake City, UT to Leland F. and Marjorie Ray Stephens. She was married to Russell M. Saxton on March 29, 1963 in Evanston, WY. She spent 23 years sharing her passion for art with Russ - traveling the country going to various art shows. Together they raised four children.
Carol is survived by her husband, her daughters, and son: Paula (Dirk) Davis, Deb (Denny) Wilson, Deni Swanger and Jeff (Kathy) Swanger; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Lee (Gloria) Stephens, Richard (Kathie) Stephens and Donna Belarde.
We wish to give a special thanks to Dr. Burtenshaw and his staff for the years of taking such good care of our mom.
In honor of Carol's wishes, no formal services will be held. And in lieu of flowers, contributions in memorial to Carol can be sent to the American Lung Association.
