Carrie Louisa Vega Obituary (1953 - 2014)

Carrie Louisa Doble Vega Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Carrie Louisa Vega, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2014. She was born on November 12, 1953 in Ogden, Utah to Wesley and Eva Doble. She lived most of her life in Ogden and a short time in Washington state and New York. She attended Ogden City Schools and earned her GED in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Gray; 2 grandchildren, Martin Rodrigues and Elena Gray; sister, Annette (Mike) Long of Rapid City, SD and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Shayne and Berry. Carrie was a nurses' aide in several care centers. She also worked at the Red Duck Store and Stimpsons. She loved working with people and was loved by many. Carrie was also a very good cook. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Orchard Park Ward, 3270 Orchard, Ogden. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held at the Washington Heights Memorial Park. A special thanks to Harmony Home Health and Hospice for their loving care of Carrie.
