Cathy Ann Juroshek passed away unexpectedly January 17, 2018 in Farr West, Utah. Cathy had a long valiant fight with heart disease while waiting for a heart transplant. She was born September 3, 1953 in Ogden to Delores Parker and Joseph Gene Burton. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School.

Cathy married Thomas L. Juroshek on June 29, 1973. Together they had two children, daughter Danialle Nicole and a son Michael. They were married for 20 years before his passing in 1993.

Cathy worked many years at Harmon's and Walmart and gained many close friends through those years. Many people in the community would recognize Cathy's smile from all of her years there. She retired from Walmart in 2014.

Cathy was an avid bowler and was on many leagues throughout the years. She was extremely proud of all her high scoring games. Shopping had to be one her biggest passions in life and she sure excelled at it. From having her hair and nails done, coffee with her friends and watching many episodes of Law and Order and Walker Texas Ranger- Cathy and her sense of humor will truly be missed.

She is survived by her children, Nicole (Jon) Udy and Michael (Meggin) Juroshek; 4 grandchildren, Jagger Udy, Jaric Udy, Bailee Juroshek, and Taylor Juroshek; 2 brothers, Richard (Jan) Burton, Michael (Karie) Burton, and sister Nancy Burton, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, parents, and sister and brother-in-law Debbie (Kraig) Burton Drake.

The family would like to thank her closest friend and "sister" Cindy Hanni, for all of her love and support that she has given to Cathy throughout the years. the LVAD Team at IMC and the team of Heart Failure Doctors at IMC, they helped give Cathy 7 more months that she wouldn't have had.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Viewings will be held on Tuesday January 23rd from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bank of Utah, in Cathy's name to help offset funeral expenses.
