Celestino Cordova Obituary (1928 - 2001)

CELESTINO CORDOVA ROY, UT - Celestino Cordova, 73, passed away Friday, November 23, 2001. He was born September 2, 1928 in Chamisal, New Mexico, the son of Damian and Corina Dominguez Cordova. He married Ida Arguello in Elko, NV in 1952. She passed away in 1989. He married Dorothy Barth in Manila, UT in August 1991. He served in the US Army during Korea and Vietnam, retiring from the Army and Texas Gulf Soda Ash in 1970. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, Roy; three daughters, and two sons, Gloria Logan, Denver, CO; Judy McCaslin, Denver, CO; Rita James, Clearview, UT; Larry Cordova, Rock Springs, WY; Damian Cordova, Green Forest, AR; two grandsons, four granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and two great- grandsons. Also surviving are one sister, Rita Vigil, Green River, WY; and three brothers Jose D. Cordova, Alcalde, NM; Benito Cordova, Green River, WY; Bob Cordova, Green River, WY; stepsons, Jeffrey Walters, Sarasota, FL; Kevin Walters, Sarasota, FL; Charles Walters, Roy, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, one brother, first wife Ida Cordova and son Patrick Cordova.
