Chad was born in Oakland Ca. and raised in San Diego Ca. Chad moved to Ogden, Utah in 2007 to raise his family. He had gained employment and had worked for several companies. Throughout his employment history he was a very hard and dedicated worker. His last employment was working for Mark Stanger of Stanger Solutions as a Construction Worker, and then his last job he held was with US FOODS where Mike Viers was his supervisor.

Chad was loving, caring father he had sense of compassion and he had dedication to his responsibilities to all his children; Daija Coren Tyes, Marrisa Claire Walsh Prieto and 7 month old twin babies, "A Boy and a Girl", Curtis Anthony and Hannah Marie Tyes. Chad loved his life and enjoyed spending time with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Marshall Redar who was from Scotland.

Chad leaves behind his fiancAC., Heather Marie James, who is the mother of his twin babies, Rebecca Prieto, who is the mother of his two other daughters and longtime friend. Chad also leaves behind 15 brothers and sisters; Jackie, Artie (Tank), Shaun, Sarah, Andre, Tina, Gavin, Paul, Channel, Josh, Ryan, Kiarra, Lailah and A'maya. He also leaves behind four stepbrothers and stepsisters; Jonathan, Marcus, Heather and Mikaili. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chad leaves behind his father, Andre Redar, and stepmothers, Christine Redar and Cerie Foster.

The family would like to send a very special thanks to Bishop Smith, Mark Stanger, Mike Viers and also the community of the Clinton 29th LDS Ward in Clinton.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden. A viewing will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. also at Myers Mortuary in Ogden.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations be made to the Minor children through the Gofundme.com account under "Help Pay for funeral by Katie Ptacek Tyes. There will be a "Celebration of Life "at the Clinton 29th LDS Ward, 2841 W 1300 N, Clinton.
