Charles Fred Reney, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born September 25, 1928 in Brownsville, Texas, a son of Frank Herbert and Marie Haggstrom Reney.

He faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force from 1945 - 1966, retiring after 20 years. And then worked for 25 years in Civil Service at Defense Depot Ogden.

Charles was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On June 23, 1951, he married Caryl Louise Evans in Clinton, Utah. They were married for 36 years. She preceded him in death on May 30, 1989. He married Christine Palmer, they later divorced.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, horse races, and the outdoors.

He is survived by his children, Michael F. (Jan) Reney, Charyl Hodson, Renee (Craig) Hussey, Tammy (Jim) Mikkelsen, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren with two on the way, and his sister, Rosie Garcia, Houston, TX and brother, Joe Reney, San Antonio, TX.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son-in-law, David Hodson, and 10 siblings.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 12:40 - 1:40 p.m., prior to services.

Interment in the Clinton City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
