Charlotte Marva Parsons Frost

BRIGHAM CITY - C. Marva Parsons Frost, age 81 died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 12, 2006.
Marva was born February 15, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah, the only child of Noble A. Parsons and Rotha Reeder Parsons. She graduated from Box Elder High School in May of 1943. She was married to Edward H. Frost on October 11, 1943, in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Edward preceded her in death on May 1, 1995.
Marva was actively involved in the community all her life which included Jaycettes, Community Club, Civic Club and PTA. Marva enjoyed being a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, serving in many offices in Camp Jupiter and also on the Company Board for many years and as Company President. She was instrumental in moving the Pioneer Cabin to the Brigham Young Park and republishing the Box Elder County History Book.
Marva was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in the Presidency of every organization and was the first Junior Sunday School Coordinator. Marva enjoyed doing many crafts including ceramics and making porcelain dolls. She also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, bunka and needle point. Marva loved to make candy which she generously shared with others.
Marva had the opportunity to be the Director of the Senior Citizen Center where she enjoyed the people and activities. She enjoyed traveling and visiting throughout the US and also Europe, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Survivors include: Brent E. (Marilyn E.) Frost, Linette F. (Dale E.) Peterson, Anita F. (Ferris F.) Thurston, Gary N. (Suzie L.) Frost, 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 12 Noon at the Box Elder Stake Center, 420 South 800 West, Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
