Christine (Davidson) Young Obituary (1952 - 2021)

On November 21, 2021 Chris Young age 68, passed away at her home with her loved ones nearby after a long battle with health issues. She was born in Brigham City, Utah, the second of four daughters to Kenneth H Davidson and LaDora (Nelson) Davidson and was raised in Ogden, Utah. On September 6, 1987 she married Randy J. Young. Together they raised 3 children, Amy M. Roberts, RJ Young, and Dawn Martinez She loved camping with family and friends, puzzles (the more difficult the better), and cheering for the Utah Jazz with Randy right beside her. Chris was a master of all crafts. If she saw something she liked she brought the idea or pattern home and made them with the Chris touch on them. She loved to crochet and used her talent to make hundreds of baby blankets and following her mom's footsteps she donated them to charities. Chris operated her own daycare in her home and many babies and young children benefitted from her loving care. She is survived by her husband Randy, 3 children, 5 grandchildren and her sisters Yvonne Young (Scott), Laurie Griffin, and MaryLynn Stell (Mike). Chris was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law John and Arlene Young and a sister-in-law Carol West. A viewing will be held Saturday, November 27 at Myers Mortuary at 845 Washington Blvd in Ogden from 10:30-12:00 noon. Following the viewing a graveside service will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery on 20th and Madison, Ogden. The service will be live streamed, to watch scroll to the bottom of Chris' obituary page, the live stream will remain on our website indefinitely.
